South Swink Water Authority is accepting applications for a part-time position (20-30 hours per
week, negotiable) in the job security profession of operating a domestic rural water company.
The position can develop into full-time employment. Hours are flexible, learn on the job, full
training from a licensed operator is included.
Upon training completion, license required are;
Water Treatment: Class C
Water Distribution: Class 2
Wage increases, additional duties, and increased hours per week will take place upon receiving
licenses.
Job description will include meter reading, water treatment plant duties, monitoring of water
wells, distribution maintenance, chlorine monitoring, and compliance with Colorado
Department of Public Health & Env.
Starting pay will range from $20 To $28, depending on experience.
