Job Title: Surgical Technologist – (OR Tech)
Location: Wolfeboro, NH 03894
Shift Schedule: 10-Hour Shifts | Monday – Thursday
Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible extension depending on business needs)
Guaranteed Hours: 40 Hours/ Week
Pay Range: $50 - $65/hr on w2 (Based on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities:
Prepare operating rooms for surgery by setting up sterile instruments, drapes, and equipment
Assist the surgical team during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
Ensure all surgical tools are properly handled, sterilized, and accounted for
Anticipate the needs of the surgeon and operating team to ensure efficiency and patient safety
Maintain accurate counts of sponges, instruments, and other surgical items
Support the surgical team in post-operative clean-up and turnover between cases
Adhere strictly to infection control and safety standards throughout all procedures
Participate in the facility’s on-call rotation, including nights and weekends

Skills/Experience Needed:
Prior experience as a Surgical Technologist – Required
Strong understanding of aseptic and sterile techniques
Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure surgical environments
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Experience working in multiple surgical specialties is a plus

Education:
High School Diploma or GED – Required
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program – Preferred

Certifications:
BLS or CPR Certification – Required (American Heart Association preferred)
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) – Preferred but not required
Registration with the New Hampshire Medical Technician Registration Board – Required
Must meet facility and state compliance standards prior to start
