Position Summary:
Premier Placements is seeking a Maintenance and Facility Project Manager who is responsible for overseeing capital and maintenance projects, managing departmental budgets, and ensuring timely and effective execution of all facility-related initiatives. This role provides critical support in planning, prioritizing, and executing maintenance and repair projects, while ensuring full compliance with internal safety protocols and external regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the management of the Maintenance Department budget with a focus on cost control and timely, high-quality project completion in alignment with organizational goals.
• Assist in the development and planning of the department's annual operational budget.
• Lead the planning, development, and execution of the annual Capital and Repair RFA (Request for Approval) budget.
• Oversee the design, budgeting, procurement, installation planning, and start-up of capital improvement and facility repair projects.
• Evaluate and prioritize incoming project requests to ensure efficient resource allocation and execution.
• Provide clear guidance and oversight to external contractors to ensure work meets quality, safety, and timeline expectations.
• Partner with the Safety Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to support adherence to all Lopez Foods safety programs, including Hot Work, Confined Space Entry, Lockout/Tagout, and Ammonia PSM (Process Safety Management).

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of EAM 7i (Enterprise Asset Management) software.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Familiarity with hydraulic, pneumatic, plumbing, and construction systems.
• Accounting and budgeting skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization and with external partners.
• Demonstrated ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
